Symptom:
>Press in key slot cannot Ignition "ON", all instrusment cluster black out!
>Occasionally park under the hot sun cannot ignotion "ON", and wait for a while then only can ignition 'ON"

Comments:
>The Passat B6,B7 due to aging likely to trigger this ESCL [electronic steering control lock] problem.
>Got 2 potion if ESCL chips totally no communication, just replace new original unit!
>If ESCL chips still got communication can using ESCL immulator.

Solution:
>Dismantle the J393 comfort module, key x1pc and damaged ESCL post to us!
>We take 4 hours to prepare the unit n post it back!
>Just plug & play the emmulator and all working find
